Off-duty Dallas ISD officer critically injured in shooting
Emergency crews and police officers responded to a shopping center near the LBJ Freeway and Midway Road in Northwest Dallas after an off-duty Dallas ISD officer was shot. Sources say the officer suffered critical injuries after being shot by a suspect who was in custody and was transported to Parkland Hospital. Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident and search for additional details.
