Dalton arson investigation ends with suspect killed in chase

Dalton police are investigating a deadly house fire on South Grimes Street that left one person dead. Authorities say the suspect, an Indiana man, fled the scene in the victim’s car after allegedly confessing to the killing, before dying in a high-speed crash with Kentucky State Police near Lexington.
