Flight delays and cancellations at some of the nation’s busiest airports could stretch into the weekend as the FAA orders airlines to cut flights by 6 percent. The agency warned those cuts could reach 10 percent by Friday if the government shutdown continues.Travelers could face even more disruptions once the shutdown ends.
