Hogansville man arrested for raping 2 children
Jake Sweatt, 45, of Hogansville, was arrested by Troup County authorities on April 10, 2026, on two counts of rape. Investigators initially began looking into the rape of a 10-year-old girl from several years ago when a second victim came forward with additional allegations.
