1 dead after vehicle swept off road in Cleburne County

Flash flooding washed away a vehicle in the 3000 block of County Road 41 around 6:20 a.m. Sunday, according to the Turkey Heaven Volunteer Fire Department. The department said two people were in the vehicle when it tried to cross a bridge over a creek. One person was killed and the other person was injured.
