Sneak peak of new State Farm Arena

ATLANTA - Saturday marks the grand opening of the State Farm Arena and FOX 5 got a firsthand look at the arena's major makeover before it opens its doors.

Developers say they've transformed the arena into a next-generation venue focused on experience, service, and entertainment.

The more than $192 million renovation consists of premium seating areas, upgraded, and unique clubs and restaurants, and a more open design with what officials call "fan friendly pricing."

One of the new additions is the 360-degree video board in the middle of the arena, with video boards in each corner.

Saturday, the arena will host an open-house event that will begin at noon.

It will include a grand opening ceremony, and then guests will be able to explore the building.
