2024 Eclipse

A total lunar eclipse will turn the moon red over North Georgia on Tuesday morning. Find out the best times to see the 2026 "Blood Moon" in Atlanta.

Only the far Northeastern U.S. and parts of eastern Canada were in the right spot to see at least part of the sun obscured by the moon as the sun rose Saturday morning.

Cities along the I-95 corridor will see a partial eclipse, but it begins before sunrise for places including Boston, New York, and Philadelphia, which leaves only a few minutes to see this celestial show before it's over.

An annular solar eclipse, known as the "ring of fire," will be visible on Wednesday, primarily over the Pacific, with Easter Island, parts of Argentina, and Chile in its path.
