Jasmyn Cornell

Jasmyn Cornell joined FOX 5 Atlanta in February 2026 as a streaming producer and host. 

She delivers breaking news, major live events and in-depth conversations on FOX LOCAL, connecting with viewers in real time while helping them make sense of the day's biggest stories. Whether reporting on breaking developments or highlighting stories that matter to the community, Jasmyn is committed to journalism that informs, empowers and serves.

Before joining FOX 5, Jasmyn was a news anchor at FOX54 in Augusta, Georgia. Earlier in her career, she worked as a multimedia producer in Augusta before becoming a weekend anchor and reporter in Huntsville, Alabama.

Throughout her career, Jasmyn has covered some of the nation's most significant stories, including the COVID-19 pandemic, the Casey White prison escape and the U.S. Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. As an anchor, she also led coverage of Hurricane Helene, providing critical updates, safety information and resources to communities impacted by the storm.

Behind the scenes, Jasmyn produces FOX LOCAL's live-streaming coverage and creates digital content that keeps viewers informed throughout the day. She enjoys finding new ways to tell stories that resonate with audiences across streaming and digital platforms.

In addition to her work in the newsroom, Jasmyn has served as an emcee for the Capital Emmy Awards in Bethesda, Maryland, celebrating excellence in television and journalism.

Jasmyn is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and is passionate about community service. Outside the newsroom, she enjoys volunteering, exploring new restaurants, staying active in the gym and spending time with family and friends.
