Woman beaten, robbed at southeast Atlanta motel

ATLANTA - Atlanta police are trying to find two men who robbed and pistol-whipped a woman inside her motel room.

The attack took place early Wednesday morning at the Super 8 motel on Jonesboro Road in southeast Atlanta. The victim told police someone knocked on her door and when she opened it the male suspects forced their way inside. 

The robbers beat and pistol-whipped the woman, leaving her with a head wound. The victim was rushed to Grady with non-life threatening injuries.

The gunmen escaped, stealing about $200 in cash and a cell phone from the woman.  The victim told officers that she didn't know the men who attacked her.
