Wanted for Murder: Arrest warrants issued in deadly Newnan shooting

NEWNAN, Ga. - Police have obtained arrest warrants in connection with a deadly shooting that left a Coweta County man dead late Monday night.
What we know:
Detectives with the Newnan Police Department said Justin Mardez Owens, 35, of Newnan, is wanted on charges of felony murder and aggravated assault in the death of Hunter Ross Williams.
Officers were called to reports of gunfire around 11:23 p.m. on March 31 on Octavia Place. When they arrived, they found Williams, 38, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Williams was taken to a hospital, where doctors attempted lifesaving measures, but he later died from his injuries.
Authorities said the circumstances surrounding the shooting remain unclear, and investigators have continued working to piece together what happened.
