Vigil for Murdered Fulton County Teen
FULTON COUNTY, Ga. - Fulton County Police plead with a crowd of mourners, paying respects to 17-year-old Randisha Hamm outside her home, to bring in leads to help them to find her killer.
"We are doing everything we can, in our power, to bring this killer to justice," said Lt. Reginald McCain to the crowd holding a candlelight vigil.
Tuesday, Hamm was found shot in the head inside her home on Hidden Valley Drive. Her mother made the grisly discovery.
"Finding your own child dead? That's a memory you will never forget," said cousin Darriell Edwards.
Investigators said they are following leads and searched the home again Thursday. Police have not told FOX 5 News about any possible motive.
Hamm attended Westlake High School, had a 3.9 GPA, and was planning on joining the Air Force. Plenty of relatives and friends said the teenager was well-liked and had plenty of friends.
"Somebody decided to take her from us," said another cousin.
Anyone with any information is asked to call Fulton County Police or Crime Stoppers.
