Two Injured at New Year's Eve Party in SW Atlanta
ATLANTA - A man and a woman are critically wounded after a shooting at New Year's Eve house party in southwest Atlanta.
The shooting happened right after midnight at a house on Avon Avenue. Atlanta Police Captain Terrell Griffin told FOX 5 News there was an argument right before gunshots rang out. Officers are still investigating what the dispute was about. However, Griffin said the male victim, 23, was targeted but the female victim, 20, may have been caught in the crossfire.
Both victims are being treated at Grady Memorial Hospital.
Police haven't made any arrests. Griffin says the gunman left the scene.
