Tree smashes truck, damages southeast Atlanta home

ATLANTA - It was a close call for a man and his wife Monday night in southeast Atlanta.

A large tree came crashing down around 11 p.m., smashing the couple's truck and part of their house on Springside Drive SE.

No one was injured when the tree fell. The homeowners are staying in a hotel for now.
