Thieves steal wheels and rims from cars at shops

FAYETTE COUNTY, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Fayette County deputies say thieves have targeted vehicles having work done at area body shops.

Police released surveillance photos of the crime.

Deputies say thieves use jacks to lift the cars in order to steal wheels and tires.

The cars were parked outside the European Collision Repair and MAACO on Highway 85.

Deputies say the thieves can be seen driving a Chevy Trailblazer from the scene.
