ATLANTA - More than a hundred teens got the chance to take to the skies recently, some for the very first time.
It's part of a Delta Air Lines program aimed at getting underrepresented groups into aviation.
Friday afternoon, Delta held a graduation ceremony for the more than 50 students who took part in this year's program.
Over the last two weeks, participants got to fly to an Ohio air force base, try out flight simulators, and learn more about possible careers in aviation.
For some, the experience definitely cemented their career goals.
Delta said they worked with the organization of Black Aerospace Professionals to put together the program and find student participants.
