Suwanee massage parlor owner charged with sexual battery
SUWANEE, Ga. - Suwanee Police investigators suspect a massage parlor owner has been preying on women during private therapy sessions. In February, two female clients told police the owner of BLC Massage touched them inappropriately in their private areas.
Police said the women, who are 22 and 28 years old, did not know each other and reported the alleged assaults on separate occasions by posting negative reviews on Yelp.com. Both women eventually told police Jianghong Wang touched their private parts during massage therapy sessions.
"When you have two different people, detailing the same type of methods used during the assault, it certainly leads you to believe there could be other victims out there," Captain Cass Mooney of the Suwanee Police Department said.
After Suwanee Police investigated the clients' complaints and interviewed Wang, they charged Wang with one count of Felony Aggravated Sexual Battery, one count of Misdemeanor Sexual Battery and two counts of Simple Battery.
"If there are other victims, it's important for them to come forward because we don't want him to do this again, and we don't want him to be allowed to continue to operate. That's why it's important that we understand the full scope of the allegations against him," Mooney said.
No one would comment about the owner's arrest when FOX 5 went to the parlor on 3255 Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road on Tuesday afternoon.
Investigators tell FOX 5 Wang passed a background check in August 2015 when he took over BLC Massage. He has no criminal record prior to the allegations from the two clients who reported him to police in early February 2016. Wang is being held at the Gwinnett County Detention Center without bond.
Massage therapy clients who believe Wang touched them inappropriately are asked to call Suwanee Detective Dustin Devereaux at 770-904-7632.
