Susan G. Komen Atlanta 3-Day Kicks Off at Stone Mountain

ATLANTA, Ga. - October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Friday hundreds of people are joining the fight as they walk 60 miles in the Susan G. Komen Atlanta 3-Day. 

Around 800 walkers gathered at Stone Mountain Friday morning for the Komen 3-Day. The walk kicked off around 7:30 a.m. 

Each person will raise at lease $2,300 and walk an average of 20 miles a day. 

There are more than 3 million breast cancer survivors living in the United States today.
