Shake Shack to Sell 200 Limited-Edition Burgers

Saturday, Shake Shack in Buckhead will unveil its latest culinary collaboration in Atlanta: the Carpetbagger burger, crafted by renowned restaurateur and chef Ford Fry and Shake Shack Culinary Director Mark Rosati.

Only 200 burgers will be available for purchase and will be served on a first-come, first-served basis.  Inspired by carpetbagger steak, a classic 1950s dish that works oysters into a hefty cut of steak, the Carpetbagger burger ($8.50) is a butter-grilled double cheeseburger made with Shake Shack’s 100 percent all-natural Angus beef and topped with smoked and caramelized onions, house-made pickles, Comeback sauce and a crispy fried oyster.
