Reward raised to $20,000 for missing Cartersville mother
CARTERSVILLE, Ga. - The Federal Bureau of Investigation has increased the reward in the case of a missing Cartersville mother to $20,000.
Heather McDonald, 27, was last seen around 7 p.m. on September 18. She was staying with a friend in Acworth at the time. Her Jeep was found abandoned in the parking lot of the Courtesy Inn off Highway 411 in Cartersville.
McDonald is the mother of three daughters, Olivia, 6, Molly, 2, and Nova, 1.
"She would never leave these girls for a week," said McDonald's husband, Stefan McDonald. "She was on her phone all the time and her phone's not been turned on. She's not been on her Facebook."
McDonald is described as 5'2" tall, weighing 105 pounds with brown eyes and brown, wavy hair. She was last seen wearing yoga pants and a tank top.
The FBI is offering a reward of up to $20,000 for information leading to McDonald's recovery. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-8477.
