Police: Three shot in Grant Park neighborhood

ATLANTA - Police are trying to determine what led to three people begin shot in the Grant Park neighborhood of Atlanta Friday night.

Atlanta Police said they responded out to the 500 block of Park Avenue after receiving a report of a person shot. Officers said one person of interest has been taken into custody.

Two people were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, another was taken to Atlanta Medical Center, all taken in private vehicles. Police said they are expected to survive.

Investigators initially believe a dispute erupted in gunfire leading to the three injuries.

The names of those involved have not yet been released.
