Police seek woman missing from Atlanta assisted living facility

ATLANTA - Police need your help to find an elderly woman who disappeared from an Atlanta assisted living facility.

Police say Viola Washington, 77, was reported missing from the Sunrise of Buckhead Assisted Living Home in the 100 block of Lenox Road on Tuesday.

Around 8 a.m., a maintenance worker reportedly saw her walking through the Post Gardens Apartment complex. Her handbag was later found there.

Washington is described as a black female, 5'07" tall, weighing 120 pounds. She also has brown hair.

Police say Washington, who was diagnosed with Dementia, was last seen wearing blue top and gray pants.
