Police searching for suspect in Atlanta restaurant break-in
ATLANTA (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Atlanta police are searching for a burglary suspect who used an extra shirt to try to hide his identity.
According to officers, they received a call on July 22 from Bazati Restaurant, which is located on the 500 block of Somerset Terrace.
The manager told officers that they locked and secured the building the night before at 11:30, but when he returned the next day he saw that someone had entered the office.
On security camera footage police have released, a mustached man wearing a hooded sweatshirt peeks into the room. He then crawls on the floor, noticing the camera and backing out of the room.
The man then comes back in carrying a separate shirt to cover his face. He covers the camera, showing his face slightly while he does so.
According to the manager, the thief stole the bank deposit bags which contained around $1,300.
