Police arrest suspect in Gwinnett Co. deadly hit and run

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. - Police have arrested a man in connection with a deadly hit and run accident in Gwinnett County Sunday night. 

Police said Carlos Hernandez-Tecata, 44, of Lilburn, has been charged with driving without a license, felony hit and run and felony vehicular homicide. Police announced his arrest on Tuesday. 

The suspect was arrested after a woman was struck and killed by a dark-colored pickup truck on South Norcross Tucker Road. 

Police have not yet released the victim's identity.
