Police: 3 shot in DeKalb County shopping center parking lot

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - Investigators are trying to find out what led to three people being shot in the parking lot of a busy DeKalb County shopping center on Sunday.

DeKalb County police said the actual shooting happened in front of the Lowe’s Home Improvement located in the 5300 block of Fairington Road around 5 p.m. Investigators said they received a 911 call reporting a shooting. Officers found a man with a gunshot wound. He was rushed to an area hospital.

About the same time as officers arrived at the scene, police spotted a car speeding down Fairington Road. Officers stopped the car and found two men, both with gunshot wounds, inside. They were also transported to an area hospital.

All three men were listed in stable condition. Their names have not yet been released.

Investigators are trying to determine who shot who, but believe they have the gunman in custody.
