DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - All lanes on Moreland Avenue at Thurman Drive have reopened. The roadway was previously closed after an overturned tractor-trailer leaked fluid, triggering a one-mile evacuation.
What we know:
Moreland Avenue was closed for hours between Henrico Road and East Conley Road due to an overturned truck spill, which also prompted a one-mile evacuation in both directions.
The closure included the exits leading from I-285 onto Moreland Avenue. Officers urged drivers to stay away from the area during the clean-up process.
