ATLANTA - A 23-year-old was killed in a triple shooting at an Atlantic Station apartment building.
What we know:
Officers were called to the 200 block of 18th Street NW just before 6 p.m. Monday after reports of gunfire. SKYFOX 5 flew over the scene and spotted police tape at the intersection of Market Street NW and 18th Street NW.
According to the Atlanta Police Department, three people were found with gunshot wounds inside an apartment.
A 32-year-old woman and 26-year-old man, both of whom were shot in the arm, were taken to an area hospital for treatment. They are expected to survive.
The 23-year-old man, who was shot in the chest, was rushed in critical condition to the hospital, where he died.
One shot went through the wall into an adjacent apartment, but that apartment was vacant.
APD Homicide detectives spent the evening canvassing the area for witnesses, surveillance images, and evidence.
