Isolated T-showers Sunday, Tropical Showers Monday

A cold front approaching Georgia from the northwest will result in occasional showers and storms through this evening. There will be plenty of breaks in between afternoon storms, but any of the storms will have the potential to be strong or severe.  If any storms reach severe levels, damaging winds of 60 mph would be the main threat.  Hail is possible.  But the tornado risk is well east/northeast of Georgia today - mainly affecting mid-Atlantic states.

The cold front will linger across middle Georgia tomorrow, and meanwhile a tropical depression or storm will be moving north through the Gulf of Mexico. The combination of the two will give us another round of showers and t-showers on Monday. Look for lots of sunshine to return by Tuesday.
