Gwinnett County Police Locate Missing Man who is Deaf and Mute
LILBURN, Ga. - UPDATE: Police have located Kharka Das. He was found Thursday morning in good health near Ponce De Leon.
Police are searching for a missing deaf and mute man from Lilburn.
Gwinnett County Police said 58-year-old Kharka Das was last seen around his home around noon on Tuesday. Family members told police that Das takes heart medication.
Police said the Nepal native has relatives that live in Clarkston and may be relying on his memory to get there.
Das is described by police as being 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighing about 170 pounds with a yellow t-shirt, blue shorts, and flip flops.
