ROCKDALE COUNTY, Ga. - A police chase that ended in Rockdale County sent multiple people to the hospital, according to the Georgia State Patrol.
What we know:
GSP said a trooper tried to stop a gold Ford Crown Victoria on Monday for following too closely on Sigman Road. The driver, identified by police as Jamal Green, 40, accelerated, and the trooper began to pursue him east.
As the cars approached the intersection of Sigman Road and Rockbridge Road, police said Green failed to stop at a red light and struck a white F-150. After the crash, the truck rolled over and landed on its roof.
The Crown Victoria then struck a gold F-150 head on, police said.
Police said Green exited the vehicle and fought with the Trooper until two bystanders assisted in arresting Green.
Everyone in the trucks was taken to the hospital, according to GSP.
What we don't know:
Police did not list the exact charges Green faces.
