Good Samaritan saves woman from fiery crash in Midtown

A fiery crash shut down Monroe Drive in Midtown early Tuesday morning. 

Police said after the driver ran off the road, just south of Greenwood Avenue, her jeep hit a pole and caught fire. 

A Good Samaritan helped pull the woman to safety. 

According to police, the woman will be cited for the accident. She was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital to get checked out, and will be okay.
