Police in a coastal Georgia town are trying to contain their laughter as they search for a burglary suspect who used a not-so-subtle, yet hilarious, mask... if you want to call it that.

On April 13, police said a "craftily disguised gent" burglarized a GameStop in St. Marys, Georgia. He attempted to hide his identity by placing a plastic bag used to package bottled water over his head as he ran through the store.

"This puts new meaning to the term Waterhead," St. Marys Police joked on Facebook, releasing surveillance video and images of the suspect from inside the store.

On Tuesday, police identified the burglary suspect as 22-year-old Kerry Hammond Jr. He's wanted for burglary and criminal damage to property in the second degree.

"You can help us catch him, once you stop laughing," St. Marys Police said, referencing the surveillance video. "We'll be sippin' water while we wait!"

Hammond is described as a white male, who's 6'1" and about 275 pounds. He was last seen driving a white 2006 Ford Taurus, possibly with a car dealership tag on it.

Anyone with information is asked to call the St. Marys Police Department at 912-882-4488 or the anonymous Crime Stoppers tip line at 912-576-0565.
