Fourth victim in Henry Co. quadruple shooting dies
HENRY COUNTY, Ga. - Authorities said the fourth victim of a quadruple shooting in rural Henry County last week has died.
The Henry County Coroner confirmed Destiny Olinger died at an Atlanta hospital Sunday afternoon. She had been in critical condition since she and three others were shot inside a McDonough home early Thursday.
Matthew Hicks, 18, of McDonough, Keith Gibson, 29, of Covington, and Sophia Bullard, 20, of Thomason, were found dead at the scene.
Matthew Baker Jr., 19, and 22-year-old Jacob Kosky are facing murder charges.
Police said that the crime actually began as a late-night gathering or bonfire, but somehow devolved into gunfire. Officers said the victims all knew each other, although they have yet to detail the connections between them and the suspects.
