Flames shoot from roof of west Atlanta home early Friday morning

Firefighters say people injured in a crash involving at least two vehicles on North Druid Hills Road in DeKalb County were taken to Grady. The crash happened where a 12-inch gas main had ruptured earlier in the day. In west Atlanta, flames shot through the roof of a home on Hopkins Street; officials had not yet said whether anyone was hurt. Police also responded to a reported stabbing at the Legendary Marquette Restaurant and Lounge on Joseph E. Boone Boulevard.

Officials had not said whether anyone was injured or whether the home was vacant.
