Braves get big send to Philly for NLDS game 3 and 4
Braves Country showed in force at Truist Park Tuesday afternoon for the sendoff to Philly. Fans sent the team off with a bang ahead of games 3 and 4 of the NLDS.
COBB COUNTY, Ga. - The Atlanta Braves are now on their way to Philadelphia for Games 3 and 4 of the National League Division Series.
Fans were invited to help send off the team at noon today at Truist Park.
"By any means necessary, I'm going to send our guys off, I'm going to wish them luck," said fan Jessica Smith.
"I hadn't been able to get out for the regular season and when they said today was going to be send off day, I said this is the perfect time," fan Ivy Offordum added.
Braves mascot BLOOPER and Braves Plaza host Lauren Hoffman hosted the sendoff outside the Right Field Gate near Battery Avenue.

Fans send off Atlanta Braves
Hundreds of fans gathered at Truist Park early Tuesday afternoon to send off the Atlanta Braves.
The Braves won Game 2 of the series in a nail-biting win on Monday night to even up the series.
Hundreds decked out in Braves gear turned out for the goodbye. Some were kids, others just kids at heart.
"Being a Braves fan since you’re a kid, it takes you back to your childhood, those carefree days and something like this is really neat," said Luke Wyatt.

Liles/Atlanta Braves/Getty Images) The cheers at the sendoff may have been extra loud as fans continued to celebrate Monday night’s spectacular finish that left leveled the NLDS series playing field.
"I've seen a lot of great games, but this one may top them all," Wyatt said.
"I thought we were going to lose halfway out because we were down four nothing, but we came back and won the game," one Braves fan said.
Now, all Braves Country needs is the team to get two more wins to continue this postseason run.
"We love the Braves, great year," another fan said. "Hoping they can knock off the Phillies here in the next couple games."
Game 3 will be played on Oct. 11 and Game 4 will be played on Oct. 12.
Watch parties for Games 3 and 4 will be held on the Plaza Green at The Battery Atlanta. The watch parties will begin 30 minutes before game times.
