Ex-Warner Robins Little League official accused of theft

WARNER ROBINS, Ga. (AP) — The ex-president of the Warner Robins American Little League has been indicted on theft and identity fraud charges.

News outlets report that 38-year-old Joseph Stella was charged more than a year ago with stealing money from the league's cash fund multiple times between 2014 and 2015.

He was indicted by a Houston County on Tuesday on four counts of identity fraud and three counts of theft.

The indictment did not include any dollar amounts.

Lars Anderson, a Macon attorney representing Stella, tells The Telegraph (http://bit.ly/2eTduL6 ) that he thinks many of the charges will prove hard to prosecute.
