Deputies investigating string of car break-ins in Forsyth County

A rash of car break-ins Wednesday night has sparked an investigation by the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office. The crimes occurred on two different ends of the county.

Several cars were broken into near Brookwood Road in South Forsyth, and a 2009 Grey Nissan Altima was stolen from a home. The Georgia tag number is BAQ2966.

In North Forsyth, several cars were also broken into near the Bridlewood Subdivision near Gravitt Road and Matt Highway.

Detectives have canvassed the areas, and are collecting video and other evidence. They are working to share suspect descriptions as soon as possible.

The sheriff's office has also contacted neighboring cities and counties to see if there is any connection or any trends from these break-ins.

The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office plans to increase patrols in the overnight hours, and citizens are urged to report any suspicious person or activity.
