Police seek help identifying man shot to death, burned
It's been nearly a week since police found the body of a man burned in a grass fire in Clarkston. Police believe the man was shot before he was set on fire. Two adults and one juvenile are behind bars in connection to the crime, but investigators are still working to identify the victim in this case.
CLARKSTON, Ga. - Clarkston police are asking for help identifying a man whose body was found after a brush fire at an apartment complex last week.
Three people, including a 16-year-old, are accused of shooting the victim and setting the fire to cover up their crime.

The backstory:
Shortly after midnight on Jan. 30, firefighters and Clarkston police responded to reports of a fire in a wooded area along Brockett Road behind the Silver Oaks apartment complex.
While putting out the fire, officials discovered the body of a young man who had been shot at least once.
Investigators were able to identify three individuals believed to have been involved and were able to track them down to Panola Road near Biffle Road.

What firefighters and police thought were a brush fire turned into a murder scene in Clarkston on Thursday morning and FOX 5 has learned police have taken multiple suspects into custody.
"The chase concluded when the suspects crashed and tried to flee on foot," Clarkston Police Sgt. Andrew Walker told FOX 5.
All three were taken into custody at the scene. They are each charged with murder and concealing a body.

Authorities have not released the identities of the three suspects.
What we know:
Authorities are still trying to identify the victim in the case.
Investigators described the man as being between 17 and 25 years old. He was around 5 feet tall and had a weight of around 100 pounds.
The victim has a chipped front tooth, pieced ears with diamond studs, and a pierced nose with a gold stud.
When his body was discovered, the man was wearing black and olive Jordan 9 Retro sneakers, a dog tag chain with the Bible verse Joshua 9:1 inscribed on it, black and gold rectangular sunglasses, and a clear beaded bracelet.

Clarkston Police Department’s Sgt. Andrew Walker is calling on the public to help.
"If anyone is missing a family member, a loved one, a friend, a coworker that fits the description," he said. "It's extremely important to identify this victim because he's a son, cousin of someone and they have the right to know where their loved one is."
