Bomb squad removes old ammunition round from South Fulton metals facility

SOUTH FULTON, Ga. - The bomb squad was called in to remove an old piece of ammunition that had been dropped off at a metals facility in South Fulton, police said.
According to South Fulton police, a homeowner took the old mortar shell to the facility, located along Goodson Road to drop it off.
No evacuations were ordered.
