Blood pressure medication recalled nationwide after failing 'dissolution specifications'

Thousands of bottles of blood pressure medication are the subject of a nationwide recall, according to an FDA announcement.

Inventia Healthcare Limited, which is based in India, initiated the recall of its 25 mg. Chlorthalidone tablets because they failed to meet dissolution specifications.
By the numbers:
Approximately 13,567 bottles that contained 100 pills each have been recalled.
The batch number for this recall is RISA24002 and should have an expiration date of April 2027.
Why you should care:
This recall was given a new class specification of Class II.
The FDA issues a Class II recall when use or or exposure to the impacted product could "cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences or where the probability of serious adverse health consequences is remote."
Previous recall by same company
The backstory:
The same company issued a similar recall back in June of approximately 11,460 bottles of its blood pressure medication.
