27 cars burglarized at West Midtown apartment complex

ATLANTA - Atlanta police are investigating after 27 cars were burglarized at a gated apartment complex in West Midtown.

Police say the cars in the parking lot of the Heights at West Midtown on Bishop Street. The complex was well-lit and had no surveillance cameras, according to police.

Officers are processing the vehicles and waiting for the owners to return to their vehicles. 

No further details were immediately available. 

The investigation is ongoing.
