LUVERNE, Ala. (AP) — The FBI and an Alabama sheriff hope a new reward will help them locate a missing 18-year-old woman.

The FBI's Mobile field office says a $10,000 reward is being offered for the whereabouts of Myra Alissia Freeman.

The FBI says Freeman left her home in Highland Home, Alabama — about 30 miles south of Montgomery — on Dec. 13, 2015, and hasn't been seen or heard from since.

Crenshaw County sheriff's Chief Deputy Mike Johnson said authorities plan to provide an update on the case at a news conference planned for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Luverne, Alabama.

The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children lists Freeman as an "endangered runaway" who may be with an adult male.
