Live updates: Uzbekistan vs DR Congo at Atlanta Stadium

Atlanta is preparing as the city hosts its fifth FIFA World Cup match. The highly anticipated showdown brings together supporters from across the globe to watch the Democratic Republic of the Congo compete against Uzbekistan at Atlanta Stadium. The match is set to start at 7:30 p.m. ET. 

Thousands of fans are filling the city to experience the tournament environment.

For ticket holders attending the match, stadium gates will open at 4:30 p.m. The downtown Atlanta Fan Festival gates open at 2 p.m., featuring live music starting at 3:30 p.m.

A separate fan experience area set up just outside the stadium allows people to enjoy the atmosphere without a ticket. This secondary site features large screens showing the matches, live music, and interactive areas to test soccer skills. Hundreds of thousands of people have already visited the city's events at Centennial Olympic Park over the last few days.
