Tyler Perry talks to Good Day about new Madea movie

ATLANTA - Madea is a lady who’s never afraid to speak her mind – and it turns out, that’s true even when she’s talking to Halloween’s most frightening ghouls!

Tyler Perry’s Boo! A Madea Halloween is the latest film starring Atlanta’s own Tyler Perry as Madea, and it hits theatre on Friday, October 21.  The filmmaker says the idea for the film came from an unlikely source – Chris Rock – who suggested a Madea Halloween movie in Rock’s own film Top Five.  Perry says he took the idea and ran with it, coming up with a spooky story involving a fraternity party, creepy clowns, and Madea’s hilarious family and friends.
