Parents line up for Kidsignments Fall Sale opening day

The line formed early, and when the doors to the Gwinnett County Fairgrounds opened at 9 o’clock this morning, parents were ready to fill their laundry baskets, garbage bins, and red wagons with everything their child needs for a successful school year!

The Kidsignments Fall Sale kicked off this morning, continuing a tradition that’s been saving parents money for more than twenty years.  The semi-annual consignment sale is one of the largest events of its kind in the country, bringing together more than 1,500 sellers offering up gently-used items for kids including clothes, books, toys, electronics, and more.

Along with back-to-school necessities for children and teens, Kidsignments also features a large collection of items for newborns and infants.  And since there are currently two Good Day Atlanta anchors expecting, Paul Milliken (a.k.a. Uncle Paul) spent the morning at Kidsignments making sure Alyse Eady and Katie Beasley have everything they need before their little bundles of joy arrive!

The Kidsignments Fall Sale runs through Saturday at the Gwinnett County Fairgrounds, located at 2405 Sugarloaf Parkway in Lawrenceville.  Hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.  Select items will be discounted 25 percent on Thursday and Friday and 50 percent on Saturday.
