How to host the perfect holiday party on a budget

ATLANTA (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Holiday gatherings can be stressful and sometimes pricey, so photographer Alice Park shared ideas with  Good Day Atlanta's Portia Bruner on how to throw the perfect holiday gathering on a budget. 

Her tips include starting with a neutral base and layer on pops of color and simple decor items. She also suggest greeting your guests with a simple and tasty signature holiday cocktail. 

Other ideas from Alice Park include bringing the outdoors inside by including festive greenery to enhance your decorations. 

Her final party tip is to use wrapping paper that can double as guest place settings.
