Atlanta Rollergirls Lace Up For 12th Home Season: They make up one of Atlanta's toughest teams -- and right now, the ladies of Atlanta Rollergirls are attacking the competition during their twelfth home season.
Atlanta Rollergirls is one of the premiere roller derby teams in the Southeast, and this is a particularly exciting year for the team, featuring a record number of rookies. In case you've never been to a derby match before, it's a fast-paced and full-contact team sport with players trying to "jam" through the pack and score points. The Atlanta Rollergirls are ranked 13th internationally, and the team features some of the most talented players in the world. This home season opened on January 30th.
