Boys and Girls Clubs get ready for salsa competition

Members of the Chamblee Boys and Girls Club are getting ready to compete in this year's "Salsa Salsa" competition.

Program Director Rodney Taylor and club members Emily, Josh, and Eveyn joined Alyse Eady in the Good Day Kitchen set with their Georgia- Grown creation using ingredients straight from the club’s back yard.

More than 15 Boys and Girls Clubs in metro Atlanta compete for Top Salsa Award each year. Their goal is to teach the kids resourcefulness, cooking, and gardening skills among others like the importance of healthy competition.

The Chamblee Boy & Girls Club won in 2017 and are going for a second title.
