ATLANTA (FOX 5 Atlanta) - June 17 marks four years since the Mother Emanuel Church shooting in Charleston, South Carolina.
Many residents are still nursing the wound from that attack, and are learning to move forward.
Author Jennifer Berry Hawes' latest book "Grace Will Lead Us Home" is in tribute to that.
Jennifer stopped by Good Day Atlanta to discuss her book, as well as to give the perspective from a person who was in Charleston when it happened.
"Grace Will Lead Us Home" is available everywhere books are sold.
Catch Jennifer at the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum at 7 p.m. It's free and open to the public.
