Live Nation reaches $200M settlement with DOJ
Live Nation Entertainment, the parent company of Ticketmaster, has reached a landmark settlement with the U.S. Department of Justice on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. To resolve allegations of an illegal monopoly, the company will pay $200 million in damages and fundamentally change how it handles ticket sales and venue booking. The DOJ predicts the move will finally lead to lower ticket prices for fans.
