Cascade Elementary crowned Georgia state math champions
Students at Atlanta’s Cascade Elementary School are celebrating a major victory after being named Georgia state champions in the Prodigy State Challenge. The students correctly answered 7,773 math questions in December to secure the title and a spot in the Prodigy National Cup finals this May. The win puts Cascade in the running for a share of $200,000 in technology grants. Atlanta Public Schools leaders and Prodigy organizers honored the students' collaboration and hard work during a victory celebration at the school today.
